New year, new resolution, same old game but new rules. It's Wednesday, and that means gaming - but not using the RPG rules although it was the same setting. The game has got to the point where there is a military campaign to take back the 'Dust Zone - and that is well-represented by some 40K games! So, I busted out the models and introduced people to 40K, using various characters to represent their PCs. Because it was really an RPG rather than a wargame, I came up with special rules, fudged the dice rolls and gave them special bonuses so it was a "narrative" driven game (co-operative to tell a cool story rather than to win or lose). Everyone seemed to enjoy it, and they recovered the Tyrant of Blueflame's Chaos power cell which he was going to use to corrupt Ophelia VII!
