March 21st 2023: Tabernacle Dreadnought

Started work on a project that suddenly came to me - a mobile geneseed repository, a tabernacle Dreadnought, for Les Chevaliers. They want to store the geneseed somewhere safe, and Le Karak is a mobile vehicle so they want to store it in Montreal ... but with the Damia infesting La Pierre it keeps getting pinched! So, they have the tabernacle Dreadnought!

March 14th 2023: Strikeforce Agastus Conversions

Strikeforce Agastus arrived (+17 to the Golf score, alas!) and I immediately started converting some models. We have a Primaris Devastator - armed with a shoulder-carried missile launcher rather than the rifle ones (also; an old school Horus Heresy one, because those are just cool) - and some kind of variation Heavy Intercessor. Gravis armor and a belt-fed weapon. I need to do something with the underslung weapon - I've left off the six-shooter missile tips for now, because I don't know what to do with them. I like the idea of these guys as a heavily-armored storm unit - rapid-fire weapons, heavy armor, charging into confined spaces and clearing rooms.

I am thinking the underslung weapons could be shotguns or grenade launchers, or maybe a melta-bomb dispenser to breach doors. Or perhaps a shield generator, or even a mounting point for a mantlet. I am also considering changing the left shoulder pads so they are heavier or have some kind of shield generator in them.

Anyway - two test models assembled. Golf score goes up by +17 for the arrival of Agastus, but I immediately turned around and sold the Lieutenant so it is just +16. My current gold score is +11 (not including post boxes or the sale of Ashigaru).

An old school RH1N0 stripped of paint and rescued somewhat. I could probably have got a new RH1N0 for the effort it took, but it's a fun project!

So, my score can range anywhere from +19 to -26 ... or even lower, if I don't count models that haven't arrived yet. The pillar boxes were simple - but they were painted and completed so they aren't in the pile of shame, the Ashigaru weren't going to be used but they aren't in the pile of shame either now.

I think the fairest thing to do might be to just finish a couple more "real" models so my orthodox score is 0 and count the Ashigaru against Agastus so it is a wash?
